Hello CR
I've been here oh 3-4 days and i love this place already. SO i might as well say hey.
I'm gonna be a Junior in HS and I'm 16 yo. I have had freshwater tanks since i can remember and i currently maintain a 55 fresh community. 75 fresh discus. and My new 55 reef.
The 55 reef is my baby, she's only 1 year old and i currently have a mixed reef. Im most proud of my LPS since they grow and grow. I'm currently in the process of creating my ric/zoa garden and i can already tell this reefing business is taking over my life. I have opted for some SPS, however. Im hoping for half the tank to be SPS dominate then the other half zoas and rics with the sand bed covered in LPS. I have a vision of it in mind but creating it is a dif. story. So i hope i haven't completely bored you and i hope i have the pleasure of meeting all of you at some point.

Thanks, Erik

Unfortunately im locked in a battle royale to the death with cyanobacteria. I'll post some pics tmrw when the lights go on in the other two tanks.

Welcome Erik! Wow, you seem to be doing pretty well so far, despite the cyano. Make sure you have plenty flow in your tank. Also, since your tank is a year old, I presume your bulbs are as well. Old bulbs can cause cyano and hair algae issues.

Also, I think Funlad3 (Ben) lives near you and is about your age. He's a friend of mine and is hooked along with the rest of us, lol! Glad to have you here.

Sorry guys should have made that more clear. The discus tank has cyano which I'm battling. My reef tank doesn't have it. -knock on wood-:plane:
