I can't even find anything on the internet that looks quite the same. It's heads continue to grow out like branches, but it is also encrusting, spreading from it's plug and growing new heads on the rock bellow it. It was three little heads when I got it almost a year ago; now it has eight or nine. Polyp extension/inflation is huge. The transparent tentacles are covered in tiny white dots. It eats giant mouthfuls of mysis and Rods.

They come as hitchhikers on LR, usually from Florida, I had those before, some kind of cup coral. Google Culicia coral.

I don't think that's it. I looked at the pictures. In the tank that mine came from they grew into big orbs like favia, but with heads protruding off the surface.
 
Dam, that's it. Thanks for the ID. Just read about it some. It looks like there must be some sub-species; some look different and appear to take on varying growth forms. I can't wait to see what it grows into.
