hi
my name is ryan
i have been looking around here for a few weeks and now i introduce myself.
i live in hammond and was guided to this site by lunacris.
i am a newer reefer. i had a 30 gal i had up once but became frustrated with it, mainly because of rapid algae growth cause i used tap and didnt know any better. so that came down a few years ago. last fall i had gotten back in using a 6 gal jbj nano and within weeks i said i had to go bigger! so now i have a 75 gal rr with a wet/dry sump. lighting is two 250w de mh and four 65w pc.
im using a rkl which i think is the greatest thing ever! i have approx 100 lbs of rock, mostly base with couple live rock. 3 chromis, high finned goby, yellow goby, 2 clowns, cardinal, pep shrimp, fire shrimp, and some corals. im running into issues with corals not looking good right now which at times has made me wanna give up on them and do fowlr but i really dont wanna so im trying to get it figured out.

about me, i grew up in hessville, am 28 married for almost 5 years and have 2 daughters ages 7 mo and 2 years (3 years next month) hobbies are camping, boating (have a sailboat) and quickly filling up the rest of my time with reefing, which isnt much time while working midnights and 52 hrs week along with parenting.

sooooooooooo HI! looking forward to getting to know many of you as i continue on.

Nice to meet you today Ryan! Hope all the livestock is good. If it's not, we have 12 more days for the live guarantee.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I hope to soon take pics and post them for all to view.

Nice meeting you too Ben. Sorry for the abruptness of my visit, I was just wanting to get them in before I had to get ready for a softball game.

All is doing well from today's order. And dang! Those turbos are HUGE!!
