Just some questions for the experts.

So, yesterday with that flash auction from AquaSD - I ended up impulse buying a Miami hurricane chalice.. Well, my husband did - for MY tank. Got a little excited placing bids.. Lol.

I also got a lobo, and don't know much about that either..

Just wondering if you guys could help me out with the care for these suckers? And what kind of corals are these?

Those are both lps corals, and prefer moderate light and flow...the lobo need to be placed on the sand bed, and the chalice can be propped up pretty much anywhere on a rock. Good luck with them, they're pretty hardy imo.

Awesome! Thanks Smitty! Do I have to spot feed either of them? Can I keep my chalice on the sand bed as well?

I spot feed my lobos and chalices after the lights go off. That's the only time I see their tentacles. They get rods, squid, brine or mysis.

I feed anything with a mouth. Their mouths will open if food is placed on them day or night. Turn off the flow when feeding.

The lobo should be feed regularly, the chalice can go on the sandbed.

THANK YOU EVERYONE! I should probably stop impulse buying, but the stuff is just SO PRETTY. Should I feed them every night? Or every other night?
