I think that it looks fantastic, but if you want to try to get it to what I had in the first picture, don't be afraid to give it SOME light; when I shot the above acan, it had been getting too much light on the top rack of the tank, so I moved it to the bottom. This color pattern was as it was morphing to its lower light pattern. If you can find the balance, you're golden. I sort of like your pattern more, though.![]()
+1. Try shading it a bit. Acans need very low amount of light, or they pretty much turn orange. And if they were wild, probably will eventually change colors.

try putting it in the shade to get the color back. sometimes the sb is still too intense if you want to keep the multi-colors in some acans, or least several of mine have been like that.
