Well I haven't posted any pictures of my 40 so here's one with some of the livestock. It's been up and running for about 6 months now. I'll try to remember to post more pictures.

40 gal. breeder w 1" overflow to a 20L 3 section sump.
2 Koralia Evolution 1500 running on a Koralia Wavemaker on 15 second alternating current.

1 Yellow Tang
1 Sixline Wrasse
1 Firefish
Various snails and hermits as a CUC

Corals:

1 Photosynthetic Gorgonian
Sun coral colony 10+ heads
1 Orange tree gorgonian

2 Duncan colonies (1 10+ heads, 1 20+)

Yes exactly. I upgraded to LED and have been trying to get it to recover ever since. It has split twice since then. Not sure if that's good or bad though.

The nem still hasn't colored up. Aren't silversides too big to feed to them? It's only maybe 3" across.

Anyone have an idea what this white growth is on my filefish's head? He still has a healthy appetite, eats frozen, pellets, and any aiptasia that pop up. I haven't been able to find anything like this online.

So I customized my mars acqua 165w Chinese black box. I added 4x 365nm 3w, 4x 380nm 3w, and 8x 410nm. Ended up removing 8 of the standard blues, 2 reds, and the more yellow spectrum whites. It definitely gives the tank a different tint. Here's some pics:
