koralia warranty question

I recently purchased (four months or less) 2 Koralia 1050's evolutions and a smart wave controller. I came home last night and found both shrouds broken. Parts laying in the sand and one pump running backwards. I e-mailed Hydor but have gotten no response. Has anyone experienced this? I bought them new from a really good LFS but I am not sure if I should deal with him or the manufacturer.
 
They are typically really good from past experiences, so maybe give it a bit, see if you can find a number to call.
