Leak!!!!

There was a lot of drama about this. People began speculating on the manufacturer and folks were blaming each other and pointing fingers. It got dramatic and messy on twitter with the blame being thrown at The Fish Tank Kings, who I believed built it, but that could be a lie.

Wish it was those jerks that made the Tanked tv show. I despise them so!!!

But I know they make some high quality $hit. Practical no but still good tanks.

This leak doesn't make me feel as bad as what just happened to me...

My little 60 gallon system blew a gasket.. literally... Somehow the return line was clogged which put severe back pressure on all of the return line joints. In turn, I just had roughly 5-10 gallons of water spray everywhere. Inside of my stand is soaked. As soon as I opened the door to check out the issue, the carpet got soaked, I got soaked. The return pump became a "Fountain" just as you would see in a large pond!!! "Lucky" for me, I am at home today working and my system is right behind me. I was able to use my cheetah like reflexed and unplug the return pump and close the overflow system before it became a bigger mess.

Needless to say.. All piping was cleared with a pipe cleaner, Joint that blew is now resealed and system is back up and running. GLAD THE WIFE WAS NOT HOME TODAY as it could have put a real damper on my 2nd build, a 100 gallon display with 40 gallon sump.
