Leaky Nuvo 8... Any ideas?

Its been getting worse. At first i thought it was just a little bit of salt creep from me dripping, but now im starting to see my rear chamber empty. My stand seems to be very damp.

Thanks guys. im not gonna have time to transfer everything for a few days. im just gonna keep up on the top off ... im really looking to part with allot of it and buy a rimless cube tank. still in the 12-15 gallon range.

i would borrow one of our tanks. your gunna have a puddle under the stand n the floor will not be in good shape. orland park is way closer lul

Is the leaky area acrylic or glass? Could be saved if acrylic by running some weld-on #16 along the seams once you empty and dry it out. It would essentially re-melt the 2 pieces together effectively sealing the leak. I'm not sure what materials they are made from, but I'm pretty sure the display pane is bent glass.

Thank you soo much jeff. its all glass. im thinking the leak is in the back glass. im gonna have it dry by monday or tuesday. hopefully i find the leak and can fix it.

Thanks Smitty. I might drop off a few pieces of sps. nothing crazy big. Im afraid that the transferring and handling will upset them.

FWIW: my 20L frag tank cracked from the bulkhead in the corner to the bottom. It was leaking slowly, but constant. I was able to completely seal the leak from the outside with JB waterweld. It actually bubbled up like a bubblegum bubble, but it absolutely cured and would have been basically permanent but I couldn't seal it under the bulkhead. If you are leaking around the bottom you could probably just lay a thin piece all the way around and completely seal it. It won't look pretty, but the stuff works.
