leather stinging birdsnest?

I moved stuff around in the tank and one my leathers (middle of picture) was touching a green birdsnest. When I noticed it it had killed/stung two tips of the birdsnest. This morning half of the frag is white...is this normal? Is it going to kill the whole thing?View attachment 17817

nevermind...I just pulled the culprit out of there. Newest addition to the tank was a yellow clown goby - which I didn't research. They like Acropora! Watched the little bastard destroy my favorite piece of coral...just a few tips left. Bad reef tank owner on me!

That doesn't look like a birdsnest to me, more a sort of favia with would definitely be the aggressor between those 2 corals.

It also appears to be getting blasted by light as well.

That was a pic to ID the leather...the birdsnest isn't in the picture. I moved stuff around.
