LFS within 30 minute drive of the north side of chicago?

So with MCF closing I need to find a new LFS, I know about New fish, old town, and Old Orchard....but is there anything else that close? Everyone talks about the places in Lisle and Mundelein, but honestly thats further than I am interested in driving to go see what they have and I am feeling like I am going to be limited to other reefers and to mail order now...
 
i have been to new fish yesterday for the first time

i think they are ok .. not too good and not too bad ..
 
aquapros is pretty darn good as far as selection and corals if u go at the right times... dunno if glen ellyn is too far for u

It's farther than I want to go, I have heard great things about a bunch of stores out in that area, but it is about a 1 hour drive when there isnt traffic.
 
We will open our tanks up for appointment only if you want to browse the hot stock that we'll have in person. Evanston isn't far from you ;)
 
Have you checked out Fish Planet in Deerfield? It's like 5 minutes west of Midwest Coral Farms, if that even.
 
i wouldn't recommend sea schor personally... usually overpriced and the last time i've been there, the selection wasn't all that great
