hey guys just upgraded from a 55 to a 90 gallon. i mounted 3 36in 2bulb aquatic life fixtures and 2 eco exotic stunner strips to my canopy. my plan is going to be a ricordia and zoa garden on the bottom and duncans and hammers throughout. was just curious on if my lighting was sufficent and what combination of bulbs to get the best color and growth. ati or giessmann? and in what combination?

with T5's, it depends on your taste of color, since you can change the bulbs to your liking. I use a 6 bulb fixture with 4x ATI Blue+, and 2x Coral+

That should be enough to sustain them but as for growth at that light level I think for the duncans you should feed them if you want to see speedy growth or recovery, they can grow pretty fast, when i first started with a duncan it was one head 1 inch across then it closed up for over a month, I spent that time feeding the tiny heads on the outside hikari marine s pellets, almost every day, then they grew and now finally the main head reappeared . Rics should be fed too, and zoos just leave em be where you put them. Do not move them around, put them somewhere and they will attach themselves and spread.
