hey guys,
i know that we like to sit in front of our tanks 24hrs..... haha i wish i could! but i can't and need to find some place where i can do my work, other than home.
before you ask, there is nothing wrong with my house
well besides 2 fish SW fishtanks, need i say more? lol,
i know that some of you might know some cool coffee shops where i can get some work done and/or surf the net like i am doing now... from WORMHOLE on Milwaukee and north ave.
i am looking for other spots since i get quickly bored of the same coffee shop, and i like a variety. Starbucks or any other big chain doesn't qualify since their coffee doesn't taste the same or the experience is... well you know. (not bashing on sbux, worked there for 4 years and love the company) i just need something with a little more uhhmmmm personality.
if you ask yourself why not YELP it? i tried, but i cant really ask questions about them, and i feel like most people post a negative feed back rather than a good one. and besides, i trust this forum with advice for my pets/fish, why not trust them with their expertise in coffee shops as well.
please let me know if you know of such place that i can go spend my countless free hrs in, well at least i would, my wife comes with me all the time, but for her its another story.. 2nd year in optometry school at ICO. ( has to find a way to stay up with the hundreds of pages she has to study.... who knew eyes were so crazy, i take them fro granted, but so many things can go wrong... lol
here are some things that i am looking for in a coffee shop.
ambience light/music playing in the background
plenty of seating space
wall outlets!!! for my mac
parking (street is fine)
LATE HOURS if they close at 7pm, it wont work, we stay up until 2-3 am so i need something till at least 9-11 pm
-------> oh and lets not forget about the coffee, great espresso drinks, good drip coffee (french press/ or pour over) if available.
doesn't have to have food, but if it does its a plus.
please least some places that you know would somewhat match my criteria and i will do some research on it. (YELP and google, and ultimately stop by for the experience. )
Here are the two places i know of ... i live on 33rd s. and michigan, but drive daily to one of these shops.
