Looking for legit site that shows foreclosed homes

As the title says it I'm looking for a legit site that shows foreclosed homes besides zillow. Or one that shows home that are owned by the bank. It's the same thing I think but you guys get the point. Reason is because the house right behind me is foreclosed and we want to purchase it but it doesn't seem to be on the market so obviously the bank has to own it is there a way I can find out which bank so I can purchase directly from them?

If you know the people you should ask them which bank held their note and give them a call.

We knew each other but not like that they moved away and we don't even know where but around here most home are owned by the same bank which is HSBC should we try to get in contact with that bank?

It might go through HUD if it was a FHA loan.

I think posen il is in cook county here is a link to the assessor office and you can enter the address and will show the taxes and who owns the home and which bank holds the note.

No you will get the PIN number of an address and then go to cook county records and enter PIN number P.M. me with the address and I will see what I can do all info is freedom of information act.
