Looking for lighting ideas for NC 28

Title just about says it all, tank has been derimmed, using a par 38 but not happy with the look of it over the tank. Looking for ideas, its a mixed reef with the top half eventually being sps dominated and plans for a derassa int he sand with a maxima up top. Basically I want to keep some lower light sps around the edges of the tank halfway down.

So there is the want, I am currently leaning towards the AI sol but looking into their nano solution as well to see if it produces the output needed. I have used t5s in the past and am not opposed to that either....just mainly looking for some ideas as I am looking to make the change in the next month.

AI nano would be more than adequate for that tank. Ive got 20 crees in my 29 BioCube and have enough par at the sand to keep SPS, at 50% brightness...

So you are running basically about 30 watts? That was my concern since the nano is only 10 LEDs if it would be enough.

Yea, full blast (60w) I was getting over 750 par under the fixture directly below the water, and I'm sure the way I had my diodes spaced it wasn't reading the light from all 20. At about 50% I had 250+ at the sand, about an inch above bottom glass. Plenty of power in that AI nano to do your corals good.

Awesome good to know, thanks Fishbeard, now if I go with them do I get the nano or spend the extra money for the normal one and have the option of using the lighting on a larger tank in the future lol.

Is that even a question that needs answering? For $100 more if you can justify the extra cash now. Do it.
