Looking into Controllers for my tank...(help!?)

Im trying to do my research on controllers... I was trying to decide between the Reef Keeper and the Neptune...then I was looking further into the Reef Keeper, and I am wondering why I would want the NET version of this? For a $100 dollars more is it really worth it? Can I actually control my tank from the net? Or from what I keep reading is it only to get email messages/warnings/emergency whatevers from my tank?

Thanks!

Scott

(What does everyone use and why!!!???)

get the Jr if you want to control with the net, if you want a screen get the rkl. If you got enough money for RKE or Apex, then the decision is much harder... i would go apex either way tho

I love my RKE. I don't have the NET, because I don't care too much to have everything on my smart phone, but I use my laptop to program it, and a lite just doesn't have enough channel expandability for me. For your size tank, I don't think a lite would either, because I would have to assume you'll need more than 16 channels...

The NET is JUST for communicating information. It acts as an RSS feed. You can't actually control anything wireless. That's why I didn't get it, because I can't at a moments notice drop work and get home anyway. But to each their own.

If you ever wanna check out my RKE, feel free, cause its awesome. Never used an Apex, but I have never heard a complaint about it either. Not sure how much more an Apex could do a whole lot more than the RKE, but I'm sure there might be something. The RKE does everything and more than I could ever need.

I have the apex and love it. its nice and the apps on the smartphones and ipads let you control it from anywhere in the world if you have it connected to your internet (which is easy)
