Looking to get a Cigar or Hookah Lounge outing going

Anybody interested in a little get together for Cigars or Hookah one night?

I frequent two great places. One is hubble hookah on Harlem, one block north of belmont. They are the cleanest most modern hookah lounge in the city. Food, craft beers, hard liquor and starbuzz hookah only. Great family owned place.

My cigar lounge is Utopia Cigars on the corner of Narraganset and Montrose right across from wright college. I know the owner there also and have been going there for years. We can order food, or go next door for food. You can bring it back into the shop and it is BYOB. They have TV's in there too. Real down to earth cigar place.

Would anybody be interested in either? If so, I can set it up with the owners of each and see if we can get a special going. Thursdays are best at the cigar shop because the owner works late those days.

I can recommend hookah or cigars to anybody who hasn't tried it but would like to.

I'd be in. Hubble Hookah is like 5 minutes from me.

Anyone know of any good cigar shops near the south/southwest suburbs? My old go-to shop closed down and I haven't been able to find any good ones.

Cigars are great. I've been into them for years now. Ever since i was back in the Marines.

At first I didn't think cigars had any difference but I was wrong. You can tell the difference between a good one and a poor one after a short period of being in the hobby.

I definitely second that. After having good cigars I have a hard time smoking cheap Acids now. My go-to are Zino Platinums.

Been a long time since I've had a cigar. I used to have a Cuban cigar hookup but that was like 12 years ago lol!

"Casa De Monticristo" is in countryside. I have yet to be there but I know people that have and they have raved about it. Supposedly their lounge has an elevator used by Capone and them during prohibition. I hear it is awesome.

"Stogies" is a good place in willowbrook.

"The Humidor" is in westmont and is pretty good too.

Sweet, thanks for the recommendations. I may need to stop at one of these this week to get some cigars for my camping trip this weekend.

How about VAPE?

I'm not familiar with Vape. Is it a hookah lounge?

I'm not too sure if its a coincidence or what. But Electronic cigarettes are personal vaporizers, so when you "smoke" an e-cig it is actually called "vaping".

I don't know how many are familiar with vaping or e-cigs but it is as big of a hobby as reef keeping is now. I might start a new thread if someone wants more information.

I created a thread called the vaping lounge if anyone wants to talk vaping or have any questions

So, i visited Casa De Montecristo on Friday and boy is that place absolutely amazing.

From the moment we walked in, they were super nice to us and treated us like kings. I have been smoking cigars for years and I am pretty knowledgeable in the different brands, and cigars. Even i was overwhelmed by their selection. They seriously have it all. Some brands I never even knew of before. Their selection was impressive and they have limited runs by some big name cigar manufacturers like alec bradley and cohiba. One entire humidor dedicated to first run batches, limited batches, etc...

They also have a "vintage" room where you can go and find aged cigars and some really hard to find stuff.

Then they have the main room with every cigar you can think of. If it is worth smoking, it is there. They have an impressive selection of accessories too. We picked up the "House blend" cigar which is from a former Cohiba roller. He mixes it with Dominican, Nicaraguan and a "Secret" tobacco. It was easily the best cigar I have ever had.

Since we were first timers, we were granted access to the "Man Cave" which is their VIP area. They have a bunch of nice seating, booths, etc. A full use bar with BYOB. They have liquor cabinets, cigar humidors, tons of tv's and everything you can think of. They even have a theater down there. They have a hot woman working there every night to serve you drinks and get you whatever you want. The experience was just amazing.

I'm going to set-up a time for all of us to go, and get access to the man cave. So be on the lookout for it. I'll throw out some dates soon.
