LTB plastic wrap/insulation for fish room

Like the subject states...where do I find this plastic? I've seen others have it in their fish room. What are the true benefits of the plastic anyway?
 
Not quite sure what you're talking about... Describe it more than "plastic wrap". When i hear plastic wrap, i think of the stuff you use to seal up leftovers. ;)
 
paint section at HD or menards (or any hardware store). they sell 4 or 6 mil plastic sheeting. Namebrand can be Visqueen.

I was thinking you meant something like Tyvek, the house wrap. I haven't seen many peoples' dedicated fish rooms to know what you were talking about exactly.
