macaw tree stand

When we had our large parrot, we built one out of PVC. Just make sure you sand the surfaces for traction, and don't use any PVC glue where the bird can chew on it. The other concern is that a McCaw is large, so the base should be very stable so that it won't topple over. Onto the PVC perches you can screw in eye bolts and use quick link connectors to hang toys, attach ropes from one perch to another, etc. View attachment 6315
