So, on Saturday night. I have to break down a 90g that's fully stocked, and a 46g that's fully stocked.

All the contents sand, rock, corals, fish need to go into a 150g. This is a fresh tank so I plan to use all new SW.

My question. Is what's the easiest way to acclimate all the corals and fish in a short period of time. All the tanks will be broke down and put back together in 1 night, so it's gonna take a lot of time as it is.

Also, if anyone feels like helping out... Lol

Saturday. I get off at 2. I gotta head to aurora and break down the 90. Bring it all back home to Plainfield. Then everything else will be done here all night.

I just bought 8 more buckets tonight. But I'm using 3 to hold the old FW decor and sand. So i still have 8 free buckets.

Think that's enough? I also have 4 18x12x12 styro boxes. And plan on picking up at least 4 more tomorrow at work.

Make sure to get some heater packs too.

Got them already.

Only thing worrying me is the sand. I can't use new sand cause the fish gotta transfer in 1 day so no time to cycle. But I don't want to stir up all the crap mixed in with the sand either.

You can use new sand. The sand doesn't need to "cycle" per say, and especially as long as all you LR is "live" you'll be just fine. And unless you rinse it, and run it through super high carbon levels, stirring your sand bed is as bad as dumping half rotten fish into your tank.

Ya know, all your liverock should still handle biological filtration in the new tank while the fresh sand goes live. I really don't think new sand would be an issue if you went that route. Or since you are making all new water anyways, you could leave a little water with the old sand, and stir it up to release all the crap in it, then pull the old sand and rinse really well with clean saltwater before transferring to the new tank. You just don't want to transfer all the crud that accumulates over time.

+1.

Any tips on clearing cloudy water from new sand?

Have the 150 full with new SW and 130lbs of new sand.

Setup a big power head, 3 heaters, and my Magnum 350 hoping to have the water ready by 5 tonight. But the water is still very cloudy. Think it'll clear by tonight? Should I cut off the PH and let it settle?

Long. Lol.

Clown, yellow tang, and snowflake eel are all in the 150. Just cut PVC for custom overflow, still gotta dry fit, clean sump, skimmer, pumps, UV Sterilizer. Then cement everything together. N see where it takes me
