Multiple Torch Placement in Nano Reef

I have 2 torches in my 46 gallon mixed reef. I wanted to put them somewhat close to each other but I am cautious because I know they can be a bit aggressive towards other coral. Are torches known for stinging each other?

They are from different colonies. I put them by next to one another and one of them seems to be sending out a bunch of sweepers to check out the smaller torch.

Thanks for that Jon.

I put the torches a couple inches apart and they seem to be doing fine. It's kinda cool seeing the new one and my old one "mingle" with each other. Neither of them seem bothered by the other.

I put the hammer on the other side of the tank so no worries there.

All of the corals are doing great by the way, the AOG and Sunny D's opened up right away and look beautiful. I seriously fell in love with my tank all over again with the recent additions!

We can all relate! I changed some frags around the other day and glued some others down to my rock and I just sat and admired it all day after that.

Also, thanks for the thread. I am adding a torch to my tank soon, which already has a hammer and I was thinking of placement. I meant to do some research on this.

Never had a problem. Had torch/hammer/frogspawn all intertwined from multiple different colonies.

I'm glad my noob-like questions can help others!

They can be placed next to each other with no problem. I put hammers next to and touching frogspawn and a torch with no problem.
