Was really amazed at how extended it gets at nite. Started out with one large head and a small one. Now half of frag is budding with little heads. Almost looks like its smiling. Feeding time!!

The last pic is my favorite! Mind you the pictures were taken with my iphone and I was using a flashlite to lite up the surrounding.

I'm still pretty new at this...can you elaborate what you mean or how you would feed a coral?

These do not feed off of light, so you have to manually feed them foods like mysis, pods, etc. Mine eat everything including pellets. I tend to spot feed everyday and then they also get feed when I feed the tank. Mine are open all day because they know food can flyinto their throats at anytime, as I don't keep a feeding schedule.

Interesting...so do you just put something against the mouth and it eventually ingests it? or can it rely on things floating by?

I use the turkey baster spot feeding technique. :dance3:

They snatch up everything immediately with their tentacles and pop it in their mouths. They will also catch stuff in the flow too but I wouldn't suggest you solely use that method to feed them.

New Pictures of Sunny D

Here are some recent pic of Sunny D!

I was inspired to name my little beauty by a "Local Celebrity/Socialite"!!! LOL ;-)

Whoops my bad...

Hey Walt,

I have Sunny D for about 6 months now. I bought her from Matt @ Shotanks, she was on here death bed when I brought her home, but with a little TLC she has made a wonderful come back. Originally I had 2 heads. One withdrew so much that it never fully recovered. You can see that in the pictures too. Sunny D which is the largest one now has 6 to 8 plus little heads plus 2 or 3 med heads.

I try to feed Cyploeez every other day and the occasional mysis shrimp for a treat. I made my own feeding tool instead of buying "Julian thing". Ill take a picture when I get home tonight.

Thanks for the intrest...I know it's not the greatest colony but it is to me!! :a15:
