Hello everyone, i was referred by Mr. Microscope to check out this forum since i live in Streamwood, IL. I guess i'll use this post to tell you guys a little about myself.
I had my first FW fish (tank that i myself cared for) in 6th grade, and have some form of a fish tank running ever since. But freshwater did get boring to be, so my freshman year of college i ask my mom if we could start a saltwater tank to compliment out FW tanks, she reluctantly agreed. After a 10g starter tank, we decided we want to go bigger so we bought a 29g and a sump and have been upgrading that system ever since. Now that i'm running out of room, i just started my very own 60g aquaculture tank to strictly grow coral. once everything grows out, i plan on selling/trading with local people, and maybe friends i make out of state.
Aside from fish tanks (which dominates a lot of my spare time) i'm an avid cross country runner at North Central College in Naperville, Il. and i will be starting my last term there this fall. :/ its an awesome but incredibly intimidating thing to think about. After college, i want to finish all the classes i need to hopefully get to PT school, if that fails I'll work as a PTA for a while then try again. Of course i'll have a fish tank running during all of this
I just wanted to take the time to say hey, and i'm glad i found a localized forum. If anybody is close , don't be afraid to ask to coral swap. I'm a hugeeeee SPS fan.
