need a advise for coral dipping

Not sure what the best is but for acros, I cut the frag off the plug, dip in Bayer for 15 minutes at 10ml per cup, inspect the frag with a jewler's lup and it only goes in the tank if the skin is just right.

I've used Melafix Marine in the past (it worked well) but I just recently bought Bayer. You can find it in your local hardware store usually.

How is Bayer on anything non sps

Bayer works fine on anything. I use it for everything. Just make sure to give it a good rinse after and still inspect for anything hanging on although 15mins is usually good enough.

will this remove hair algae as well?

As everyone else stated no it's only for pests. Some people will do a hydrogen peroxide dip to kill the algae. There are all sorts of ratios and dip times for that. I actually just use straight peroxide and apply it with a q-tip anywhere that there is algae on the plug. That way it doesn't get on the coral at all.

I don't believe it does. I dipped a frag earlier and had to do peroxide as well. Just to note. My Bayer had spilt a while back. Touching the out side of the bottle gave me a Chem burn. Never had this happen reefing be for today.
