Powers out on a 180g stocked reef tank.

Anyone have a generator I can rent for a night?

That's sucks. that happened to me before and until I can get a generator I occasionally stirred my tank with a big spoon to help with oxygen exchange. I did that all night and didn't loose anything. Good luck. Sorry, I live pretty far and I'm not at home, otherwise I'd help you out.

I can't use one in my apartment. It's been 7-1/2 hours now. Com Ed is assessing the issue. Yeah, right. This stinks big time. No air, no tank pumps, only battery operated aerators. I hope my corals and anemones are going to be okay. I'm sure the fish are.

Thanks. Me too. It wasn't my tank it was my clients but he live 5 min away. I got lucky, in 11 yrs at this house ive never lost power.

20min west of me in yorkville looks like a war zone tho. trees everywhere, signs either bent, snapped, or in the street.
