Wtf is that. I seen snails that have skin over there shells forgot what they called though usually shinny not fuzzy though

Yea so its what im thinking of i bought one from living sea while back but ate coral i will text buddy he might remember name

Yep, i think he is chowing down coral. Might end up becoming a trigger snack.

Yep, when he retracts the "fuzziness" you can see his shell. I was thinking cowrie also.

Some cowries are reef safe, others are not. Money cowries eat algae, got one as a hitchhiker years back and had no problem. You need to get a picture of it when the mantle is retracted so you can see the shell. When you see the shell, you can ID which cowrie it is. After An ID, you can search to see if it is reef safe.

If you don't want it, I will be happy take it off your hands (and I don't plan on using it as a food source)
