Need help identifying something odd

Found this sucker in my tank. It's like 2" long, it's segmented, hard like a crabs leg. It has a crown of sorts like a duster. Not even sure where it came from.

Do you have a big coco worm or feather duster that isn't where he normally is? I think that's him. Mine ejected it's crown when I crashed my tank and then a few days later I found something like tharecovered. It might also be a mangrove root from your live sand. Lol

I just looked closer. I'm going with that you used caribe-whatever live sand. Pretty sure it's a root. I gotta know if I'm right. Lol

Mine had all kinds of roots and leaves in the. The Cuc seemed to like it though
