Nem on the move

Last night he had move about 6 to 7 inches. This morning I found him half way up the front of the glass.

nems are scarry, before you know it, the release their hold and start swimming and end up in your overflow or your powerhead. if they get minced up by the powerhead, they pollute your tank and could crash it.
 
As Nino says, it won't be long until he possibly ends up in the powerhead. You may want to put foam covers on the intakes until the nem settles in. Once he is caught in it, it is very difficult to get them out, and even if you do there could be irreversible consequences to the nem and your tank.
 
+2 on the foam covers. I have them on both of my mp40's just in case they decide to go float about the tank when I'm not around.
