ok so lil more in depth on this tank i have three commercial metal halides that i had converted to 110 to work at home i also added two circuit to my electrical panel one for two lights one for third light i had a 55 gallon sump that sprung a leak so i just decided to use my old 75 for a sump i have all pvc plumbing going to sump that drains in to live rock and rubble passes thru three heaters one set low two set to normal temps then to my protien skimmers i had two corallife superskimmers so once again i just used these then finaaly to a mag drive 18 that i had as a spare i will also add a mag drive 24 one i get a new part for it this sump was wired to be on a seperat circuit to electrical panel as well all of this is plumbed to under my stairs for easy access on main display are four koralias that were extra gonna get larger ones but gotta sell these first i have a acrylic sump that was on my 75 and instead of trying to get rid of it i just used it for a fuge so the overflow hangs on side drain into a 20 gallon under tank where i took apart a power compact light fixture and built a retro kit for it under stand so it drains into fuge then gets returned from a rio 2500 i think i also added a rio 600 in fuge just to keep water level low enough so if power shuts off no overflow onto floor this is just about all diy except the acrylic sump and the tank and stand built overflows did electrical and evrything else im really happy with this tank all i mght d is build a canopy and maybe break down my t5 fixture if i cant sell it for atinics

Everything looks great but your tank is too nice for those brown green zoos that will continue to spread and be a pain. I would get rid of them why you still can.

i want to but dont know how they are on a sweet piece of rock that is flat they started with like three polyps on that rock and then boom everything they touch they grow on

When I boil, i only boil for about 20 minutes. Then take a plastic bristled brush and scrub off the crap. After that I usually bleach for 3 days and then rinse 2 -3 times with RO water. Then let air dry. It smells like a sea food restaurant when your boiling rock.

ill pass that smell would get me divorced i left a bag of silversides out once on a shelf by freezer and forgot a couple days later the wife demanded i ripped everything apart until i found the smell i found it and my own freezer for food oops
