New gbta when should i feed

Hi i just got a new gbta and wondering how much light should I give it and when is it ok to start feeding it

I'd wait about a week before trying to feed it. But for the most part you really don't need to feed them at all. You only feed them if you want to see them grow a lot, or if you just want to see them eat something.
 
He will, should, seek out light and won't need to be fed unless he looks like he needs to be fed.
in the past, I would never feed mine. My rbta just started loosing color and shrinking. His tentacles became almost nonexistent. I asked around and people said that it was the clowns that were hosting the rbta were killing it. I guess they just never really giving the rbta a break. I started spot feeding mysis with a small baster no flow and keeping the clowns away while he ate the food, 2 -5 min. He has got his colors and tentacles back.
For yours, It may take him a while to find his place in the tank.
