Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself on here. I'm relatively new to saltwater aquariums but i have had freshwater aquariums for the majority of my 24 years. I decided it was time for a change so Im diving into saltwater. I have a 36 gallon bow front that is currently home to 45lbs of live rock and a bunch of snails and crabs. My plan is to stick with FOWLR for a while so I can save up for some quality lighting (right now i have a single t5 light). My filtration system is a hob sump/protein skimmer. I have some caulerpa and red gracilaria living in the sump.

Anyway... I look forward to learning from everyone here and expanding my knowledge of the hobby.

Welcome Phil! I'm glad to hear that your starting slow. I know a lot of people that jumped into the hobby and lost a lot of money on coral that they didn't have the correct lighting for.
