New tank set up! 1st reef tank.

New tank came in last night. Went to LFS this morning for live rock, water (established from their main tank), live aragonite (from same established tank). There was a pretty big snail of some sort that was buried in the aragonite. He has been pretty active so far.

EcoPico 5.1g. Adding more light strips (on order).

Probably 10 different rocks in there so hopefully you all approve of the quick aquascaping. I did not epoxy together - hopefully they'll stay :)
 
Anyone know what the gray colored thing on my rock is? I did some research but not too sure. It looks like it has a smooth surface up close so not sure if it could be a sponge? It hasn't moved since I set up the tank this past Friday.

Maaz - I haven't tested levels yet, but the large snail that came with the live sand is still alive and well (five full days in tank). The rock/sand/water all came from their (LFS) main tank, so I'm guessing I won't even see a cycle. I'll definitely test levels before any soft corals/fish.

CUC arriving this week though.

Well the cleanup crew got here today from Reefcleaners. I specified a 5gallon tank and feel I got MUCH more than that (but what do I know). I'll post a few pics.

Kinda looks like a aptasia closed up or a zoa
