New to Chicago

Hello everyone,

My name is Robert Bostick and I recently moved to Downers Grove (western suburbs) and am starting to save to start my aquarium. I started getting into the hobby pretty young when my dad started a 150gal mixed reef tank with mostly lps and leather corals and while in college I started my own 55gal mixed reef with mostly lps which I had for three years before i sold it off because I was moving and didnt know where too. I am hoping to have enough money saved to purchase what I need by October, I am looking to start a 90gal tank it will be a mixed reef and am looking to venture into SPS. I am excited there is an established online community in the area and am happy to purchase quality used equipment if any is floating out there and am looking forward to any advice you may have for me.

Thanks, I cant wait to start posting pictures once I save money to purchase equipment.

Welcome to the area! Sounds like you have some experience in the hobby already. If you have certain wish lists, maybe making a LF thread would be a good idea. I'm almost positive someone has what you are looking for around here.
