New to Reefing!!!

So this will be my first ever Reef tank, I did a FOWLR about 3 years ago and stopped going because I was in the process of getting married. Now im married and have a kid im interested in starting over again this time reef. I was hoping there might be someone who lives nears Evergreen Park who could help me out with this build just so I do it right this first time. I know I will be on here all the time asking for any ones help just to make sure I dont mess this up... Thanks in Advance. I know I probably will need some help in designing my 40g breeder sump and possibly help making it, if anyone is available or has time shoot me a pm.
 
What are your plans for the tank what kind of reef budget we looking at what size tank are you building lots of great people here with tons of ideas and methods that work just need ideas and take it from there

Lunacris I plan on having a 90g reef ready tank, with 2 sps-55 lights from Gus, I have a SWC BMK Extreme 150 skimmer, I want to make a sump out of a 40g breeder that I dont have yet, hoping to pick one up, or a user named Karl said he has a pre built sump built buy douglas or somebody cant remember the name exactly that he would give me If I buy some LR and Sand from him. I have no controller yet and dont know really what to get, I see alot of people have the Apex but idk if I need something like that or could go with something like a Reef Keeper or something. I plan on doing SPS that is for sure, but I want to do it right the first time dont want to buy equipment just to start then need to upgrade in a few months I would rather have the best first. As for wavemakers I dont know if I should get 2 MP40wes or maybe 1 MP40 and 1 MP10 idk. I did a calculator for the vortechs and it says 1 mp10 and 1 mp40 is more then enough. Im just anxious to start but want to make sure I have everything and dont rush it because when you rush that is when something goes wrong.

I will Def. check that site out Matt, and Matty since you live close by maybe if you ever have time you could help me out, and maybe even help me build my sump when I buy those baffles :)..
 
I suck at cutting acrylic. If u have any questions lemme know. If u need water; contact tgunz. He's in worth and has a new ro/Di. He has mixed water too.
