New to salt.

I recently decided to give saltwater a try. Owner of a few freshwater tanks. I bought my tank as a complete set up. Cycling beautifully. Today I noticed white almost shell like objects growing on my rock. Should I be nervous? Is this common? Please educate a noob on what I have going on. Thank you!!!

sign of a healty cycling tank and good calc levels. Don't be worried if you seem to be getting tons of them. they will find a balance and help clean your water. Welcome to the reef!
