So what is everyone's new year resolutions. To start off with I would like to save a little more money, loose some pounds and then build them up, unscatter all the crap I have and make room, room, and more room!, look into school again as I stopped going, give more time to family especially the wife as she means the world to me and I don't think she has been getting the attention she deserves and finally give a little more dedication to God. I know it's a bit of a long list maybe but hey I got a whole year! Let's share some more and make this a thread for all of us to think about things and maybe get some ideas for ourselves that we possibly didn't think about and also to look back at through out the year and see what we have accomplished. Happy new years everyone and God bless!!!

Just to keep loosing weight. Down 30lbs in the last 2 months from NutriSystem. Maybe to not buy another fish tank...

Me and the wife both kept or resolution from last year to quit smoking, so now we need to lose the weight gain. Lincoln square athletic club here we come.

Congrats on quitting smoking jcarlilesiu! That is mine and my wife's resolution this year. How did you do it? Cold turkey?

No, my wife took chantix for a week and I took welbutrin for 3. Basically, you smoke while starting the quit and then drop the cigarettes after 7 days.

www.quitnet.com also helps as it sends you updates about your progress and how long it has been, how much money you have saved, and how much longer you will live for quitting. Thats helpful.

The best advice I can give you is to just get through the first 2 weeks. They are tough. You are going to be cranky, moody, and emotional. Once that 14 days is over, its simply will power, but you starting feeling healthier. Good luck! And thanks.

My goal is to drop the 35 lbs that I've gained since I got married in May and then an additional 10-15. I also need to get rid of some of these empty tanks that I have laying around before I put something back in them.

Yep that's what happens when you get married! The LBS. don't go down, they go up! It's the good life man. I've been married for 4 years and have gained about 45 LBS.! Yikes!

Cold Turkey here a couple years ago (when I left Undergrad). Anyone can do it if they are determined to.

The problem was that I lost 20 before the wedding (we got married on the beach in Cancun) and then I got that back and then some.
