Odd Zoa behavior

A small colony of BamBams has all closed up, for 2days.

Top right hand corner is the "unhappy" colony.

Yet all other Zoas in the tank are 'happy'.

I think it's somewhat normal. I do have some zoas that close for a day or two occasionally. You could give them a quick dip if you wanted to be safe.

Dip in iodide. That will help them open

I've had them ~5months and they have only ever been closed when the lights are off...

Don't have any, so I'll pick some up tomorrow...weekend was booked solid!

That said, I'm puzzled to have a dozen plus different zoas growing like weeds to have this particular colony spaz out~

Mix iodide with saltwater. I use lugols. I think its 16 drops per gallon

Algae on them ?sometimes a very thin coat of algae closes zoas
