We’ve finally finished taking pictures of our hundreds of frags and colonies, and we’re all but ready to rock on our (Live) Sale! Before we post up some teasers, we’d like to share a few details.
This (Live) Sale is entirely WYSIWYG. All colors are 100% accurate, and we’ll stand by that; we tried out around a dozen white balances on the camera before getting this one. The only editing we’ve done is cropping. All of our frags are healthy and ready to ship, though many are still a little fresher than we normally aim for; if you’d like for us to hold your order for a week or two, we’d be more than happy to.
We’re going to be listing off a few hundred items throughout the day from 4-10 PM Central Time in small groups. All of the items will be added on our website first, on the live sale page: www.aacorals.com/live-sale.html . We will then add pictures and links to the forum, though they may already have sold on the site by the time we’re able to do. We recommend you hang out on our website’s page!
Shipping is as simple as it is cheap! People that can make the drive to Arlington Heights, Il., can stop by and pick up their coral during an appointment. For those that need their order shipped out to them, please consult the map below to find out if you’re in one of the colored states; if you are, shipping is a low $10. If you’re not, shipping is an incredibly low $25! All orders will be shipped via USPS Overnight.
When we actually start posting items, add them to your cart and check out as quickly as possible! At the prices we’ll be listing these gems at and with the amount of traffic we’re expecting, each WYSIWYG coral is going to sell quickly! When you’re checking out for the first time, please select the shipping option that applies to you, Local Pickup, Local Shipping, or National Shipping. Any time after that, just click the “Shipping Paid” option.
Now, on to the fun part, the coral! We have over 100 LPS frags, over 100 SPS frags, close to 75 Zoa frags, and then assorted colonies of all three types photographed and ready to go! On top of our tip-top livestock, we’re also going to have some SUPER cheap frags that are 100% healthy, just a bit beat up. There will be no limit to the number or type of coral you can purchase.
That’s not all! We’ve been giving away everything from fish to credit to coral this week in raffles. Tonight, we’re giving away our grand prize, a Supermale Naoko Wrasse! The only way to earn entries into the raffle is going to be to purchase coral from the live sale. For every item you get, whether it’s $1 or $100, you will get one entry into the raffle for the Naoko!
On Sunday, after the sale is over and we have everyone’s orders figured out, we’ll be sending out emails to everyone who participated in the sale to determine the best day(s) to ship out any coral or fish. Again, we have no problem with holding onto orders for a week or two for safety’s sake!
