Overcooling T5?

I have a custom canopy with some T5s, it's got a 3" Fan on one side. I heard you can over cool them and lessen their life. Has anyone heard the same thing? The fan is located between the lights and water surface. Should I not use the fan?

I don't think fans can cool it to the point of damage. Would have to pass the glass transition phase for the connectors for any real damage to begin occuring, and thats impossible with fans. Sure quick cooling might cause the glass to crack but again, its a fan.

It is not about damage to the bulbs, fan will not crack them by cooling. For T5' to give you maximum output and life you want them to run around 35 Celsius degrees. Anything more or less is not ideal , but will not damage any bulbs.
