After Jeppun21 added some food to my brs order I was curious so I went ahead and doubled up. I know azoox gets a lot of good reviews, but none at brs. I just made a little cocktail of these two though and my tanks went absolutely nuts!

I wasn't sure so I ground it up and mixed it with the chili and then shook those up with some tank water. It was probably half a teaspoon of powder in half a cup of water.

did you spot feed or just put in water column?
 
If you think those foods make your corals go nuts, try the 5-200um reef pearl coral food, it's like crack for polyp extension...
 
I don't know if it is an indicator of the quality of the food, but I've used Reef Chili, Roti Feast, Oyster Feast, and AzooX, and the best PE i've seen was with Reef Chili. That stuff is still great.

I just poured it in, but I'll definitely try spot feeding as well. The reefchili comes with a tiny spoon and it recommends one of those for 20g water mixed with half a cup. I had about that much and a half when I ground up the wafers. I should have tried them separately first, but I am just doing it for the variety.

I should point out that my normal feeding ain't no tetra flakes. I feed a combo of two types of pellets in the morning and then a mix of frozen nutrimar ova, sally's mysis, enriched brine and rod's reef at night and everything in my tank has been very happy. That's why I was especially shocked when everything went so crazy tonight.

BTW; I just dropped the wafers in my guppy tank and they went bananas. (It says freshwater on it too). I hope I didn't bust out Jeff's secret recipe :)

Lol also try adding azox also i bet the three combination will make the corals and inverts go even crazier lol..
 
That's a good idea of mixing them...glad to hear it's working out. My tank goes crazy from just azox, I can imagine mixing it with something else.
 
How did you grind it? LOL that sounds like a lame a$$ question but its late at night and all my brain can come up with is mortar and pestle. Like some alchemist.

Basically that! I used 2 ceramic frag tiles like tiny mill stones.
