Petco $1 gallon sale

Starts tomorrow. I was at Petco and asked a manager if they saw the next sales ad since today is the last day of the June sale. She said she had and the $1 tank sale was in it. Going to be a 3 to 4 week sale. They also had tanks fully stocked and in the middle of the aisles.
 
Is there a minimum size for you to get the $1 per gallon sale? I think i checked and it has to be a min of 55 gallon can someone confirm this?

Really so I can get the 2.5 gallon tank for $2.50??? I remember last year going in there to buy a 10 gallon and they told me no..... I wonder why

I'm pretty sure.. the PETCO in Elmhurst sold the 5gallon tanks for $5.

I called the Petco in Kenosha and asked if they're have the $1 a gallon sale before driving out there. They said yes. I get there and I do not see any sale tags on the tanks. I ask the manager, a different one than Saturday, if the tanks were on sale and that I called earlier to confirm and drove up there. He said their sale starts this coming up Sunday and he sold me a 40 breeder for $40 for my troubles. So we'll see. I would say wait till Sunday's online ad or call the store before driving there. The $1 gallon sale they had last January was on their online sales ad.
 
Went to two stores today and they didn't have it asked managers and they said they didn't know when it was gonna start kinda disappointed in the customer service of both these places.
