Petco $ Per Gallon Sale

Wanted to share this with everyone. Petco's $ per gallon sale returns March 30-April 12.

They are selling Tetra tanks now though instead of Aqueon, which I've heard are lower quality. I sent Tetra an email to find out what their 40b tanks are made out of so once I get a response I'll update this.
 
Yeah I am kind of pissed about the switch to Tetra, PetSmart sells those stupid TopChoice tanks too. I wonder what is happening to the Aqueon brand as they are being pulled from both stores for the most part.
 
If there is not a Petco nearby I know that Pet Supplies Plus does price match. Sorry but I can't remember the brand of their tanks though.

Yea I had to buy one of their 20L a couple weeks ago and it was really badly made. Unfortunately I needed it and it was like $25. My guess is Aqueons didn't make them as much money so they are switching to cheaper brands for higher profits.
 
I finally got a response from Tetra. The bottoms of their 40 breeders are tempered, but the sides are not. So you should be able to drill them.
