my buddys tank suddenly had a phyto explosion a lil over a week ago. we've tried lights out for 3 days with a 20g w/c on his 30g. but now its back to pea soup. the only other thing i can really think of is heavy mechanical filtration. but how? canister? power filter? hes been running a filter sock since this happened, cleaning it everyday but it hasnt helped. any ideas?
