Pink cyphastrea

So, we picked this up from Mark at Reef City awhile back, and finally found the sweet spot. Definitely doesn't like a lot of light, nor the shade, so it's off center of the bulb and has been opening up nicely! The kids have been calling it hello kitty cyphastrea (we like and have a few different kinds of cyphastrea). Can't wait for it to spread out.

That's a sweet piece you have there Joe! I really like how cyphastrea looks like these tiny wildflowers that grow by my friends house up north, just a different color.

Wow, that's a nice one! A lot of the pieces I've seen are often closed up at the store, so I haven't chanced any.. For those that I have seen open I didn't like the shape of the rock they encrusted over, lol!

Yeah, I'm not diggin the straight cuts, but it'll grow out over time.
