I have two plate corals that do fine with my watchman goby pair with pistol shrimp and my pearly jawfish.. I just place the plate coral away from the burrows so they won't get buried
I have a dragon goby in my home system and he was doing the same thing to my Fungia
so I put the plate coral on a flat piece rock about 2" above the sand.... so far so good
I have also seen Fungia's growing on the sides of a rock in the wild... I might try epoxying one
side ways and see how it does.... if it's sideways then sand can't settle on top it but who's knows
how well that will work in a tank, think i'm going to give it a try today when i get home... I'm bringing
home at least 10 frags today to finish stocking my 75
