Does anyone have experience with an orange plate coral? I've been thinking about getting one and if sum1 is selling pm me thanks. Smaller the better.

Plate corals are very easy. The obviously prefer the sand, and while the do not need to be fed, they will benefit from the occasional feeding.

We actually have the plates on sale this weekend at MCF...$35 for the oranges and $14 for the greens.

They are one of the easiest to care for. IMO they go on the sandbed, they do like their light and IMO least flow possible. I do spot feed mine and it loves it! :D

I thought I saw 1 at new fish. Which by the way looks like it's gonna b a great store. And 10 min away from me but I have to call first. If not how far is mcf from downtown Chicago?

Ted that would b kool just let me know when u think ur gonna go and hopefully i don't have to work that day.

Blake how much do the orange ones cost regularly?

i was just at tank envy to buy some inverts and he had a couple for 30. he is right off 355 and lake st tankenvy@gmail .com is on the card i got from him
