So it might not be your average pin the tail on the donkey party, but i do need the lot of you guys and gals to help me out here. I need a place i can buy everything to sump this bad boy to my 40 underneath.

the larger hole is 2" in diameter, the smaller is 1-1/2" in diameter. the smaller is the return. looking to not do hard plumbing, would prefer flex pipe. and need to try and make it as leak/overflow/power outage/ proof as possible

so basically herbie overflow pipe in the overflow, but what is it connected too/what sort of bulkheads etc... im a visual learner so this plumbing experience has been a nightmare regardless of its ease

from what ive been told, a 2" hole is going to push too much water through this 34g display with 40gallon sump, so a bulkhead that can minimize to an optimal setting would be much appreciated...

Ive gone to aquacave before and told them what I have and what I wanted and they spent the time getting me all the parts I needed. Very helpful as I had an uncommon setup. Just call before you go and make sure they have the time to help you out.

So that would be a 1.5in bulkhead and a 1in bulkhead? Just get ones with threads on the inside and use reducers to get it to 1in and 1/2in.

sweet! will do, so that solves the bulkhead issues, now for flex pipes, clamps=the right way to attach them to the bulk heads?
