Plumbing question

So let me just start off with the fact that I'm completely new to plumbing my own system and I'm sort of lost trying to find the right pieces for my tank.

The bulkheads on my corner-flo 60 cube are both 1 1/4 inches MPT I think, I'm looking to use flexible vinyl tubing for my return and drain but I'm having trouble trying to find the right pieces of PVC plumbing in order to do this.

I'm going to run a Mag 9 return which has a 3/4 inch tubing insert ready to be used, I'm looking to use 1 inch sized flexible tubing for my drain as well but my question here is what pieces of PVC fittings do I need in order to go from 1 1/4 inch MPT bulkheads down to 1 inch and 3/4 inch flexible tubings?

You're going to need several pieces when using flex tubing. To play it completely safe, take your bulk head and the mag 9 connector you're using to your local home department store (Menards, HD, Lowes, etc..) This will allow you to fit the pieces together while at the store so you're not making multiple trips because you forgot a part or two. Remember that you will also need hose clamps or you can permanently glue them, for each side of the flex tubing.

But in a nutshell, you're looking for reducers to connect all of these pieces together. Good luck with your build!

Thanks for the reply, I was hoping to just order everything off of Marinedepot or BRS but it seems that when I was browsing through their plumbing section I got completely lost lol. Last time I remember Menards did not have exactly what I needed in terms of plumbing, is there a better store I can go to that has a bigger choice of plumbing supplies available?

EDIT: Okay, so after a couple hours of browsing on HD.com I found a bushing for the 1-1/4" bulkheads to 1-1/2" and was able to find the correct plumbing for my drain which will consist of a 1-1/2" MPT x 1-1/4 FPT bushing, 1-1/2" FPT x 1-1/2" FPT elbow fitting, to 1-1/2" MPT x 1" barbed insert fitting. My new problem now is I can't find a way to reduce the 1-1/2" MPT bushing down to 3/4" for my flexible tubing return. Any thoughts on how to figure this out?

Can you explain what a spigot(spg) is and how to connect that to a 1-1/2" MPT? Haha sorry like I said I'm completely brand new to this and I don't know all the terminology and such.

St" "Street" "Spg" and "Spigot" all mean the same thing. It glues into another fittings socket. A 'male' end. Note: There are both threaded street fittings and glue in street fittings. The street, spigot, st or spg just refers to the mechanism, not whether it's threaded or glued in.
