Powerhead / pump question

Looking to upgrade flow and power heads. The ecotechs are really expensive some went to ebay and found some cheap stuff but makes me very skeptical.

Prices start around 10 bucks They are exrell. any info is helpfully

One piece of **** old powerhead. ANy suggestions. Trying not to drop 300 bucks for a powerhead. Good call on the suction cup.
 
I have 2 of the 800 gph phs from Ebay and they are awesome. Who ever says suction cups suck have never had these lol. I can't get them off my glass unless i use a knife. They use 3 suction cups in a triangle shape.
 
I like Koralia's or JBJ Oceanstream's. I won't drop that much for an Ecotech either. petmountain.com has good prices on the Koralia's and the oceanstreams with wavemaker are inexpensive also. Check Groupon, I just picked up a couple of $30 gift cards for $15 each for entirelypets.com. They only stock the Koralia's though.
 
u can get magnetic ones on ebay usually 40 to 50 for two 1300gph have them on my tanks work great
 
I have the old koralia 3&4. I have used it for 2 years and put it way for a year and just put them back in use about 2 months ago. No problem yet... Still have holding power and no signs of stress.
 
I like the ones with magnets. My suction cup one failed a few months ago, caused a sandstorm and scared one of my clowns out of the tank. RIP Nemo.
