i have a blastammosa frag i got recently and it has another head forming from the side. i almost thought it had a third coming out from the base of the frag but it looked strange. so i picked up the frag to look at it. it is a snail or slug or something. i tryed to do a search on it but came up empty. does anyone know of blastammosa preditors. it looks like a slug with a bronze shield on its back. it is not like a snail the shell is a dome. i could see the back of it following behind like a slug. i tryed to get a pic but couldn't get one that was decent. plz help

ok so it was bothering me not having a pic so i pulle it out again. here is a pic and it was making ground probly 5 inch a min. i would think that is fast for a snail.View attachment 14963

Looks like a Stomatella snail,
probably grazing algae on the frag plug.

Yea there cool and fast . We could have snail races with those bad boys .

I paid a buck a piece (total $5) to get some of those guys in my tank since I used dry rock. Now, I've got a healthy breeding population and a very cheap CUC. I love those little guys. Now I need a collonista breeding population and some mini brittle stars. I love the good things that breed in my tank.
